These stages are occurred before, during and after the usage of a product. This research aims to identify the dominant, instrumental, symbolic, and affective factors that influences in three different stage of experience in car usage and how the experience is shifting from before usage, during usage, and after usage. This paper reports the results of a questionnaire study aimed towards different kinds of user’s experience responses during interaction with a car in three different conditions of interaction stages. We found that there are significant relationships between product attachment and the length of immersive interaction which mainly created by three of five experience attributes. This research is expected to help designers to identify which important factors for user experience and as well as to foster greater user experience within their...

Generally, it is the creation of physical and emotional dialogues between a person and a product, system, or service that can be experienced during the action and reaction between form, function, and new technology. User-product interaction describes the behavioral relationships between user and product, which are analyzed to understand the tangible actions and apply that knowledge to product design applications, including the design of the symbols that help the user understand the product’s intended use. In any kind of interaction, affordances (characteristics of a product that help users perform tasks) play an important role. Proper evaluation of the role of affordances in these interactions can result in better-designed objects and consequently better user-product interactions. Current methods of evaluation in the user-product interaction design process have not been fully explored, and new, more scientific approach...

Porous materials, such as aerogels, facilitate the fabrication of materials with density less than that of air. However, their apparent density increases because of the air inside the materials, and therefore, they cannot levitate in air under normal conditions. Ultralight carbon aerogels, fabricated using carbon nanotubes, have excellent light absorption properties and can be quickly heated by a lamp owing to their small heat capacity. In this study, an ultralight carbon aerogel was heated with a halogen lamp and levitated in air by expanding the air inside as well as selectively reducing its density. We also show that the levitation of the ultralight carbon aerogel can be easily controlled by turning the lamp on and off. These findings are expected to be useful for various applications of aerogels, such ...

Buses are one of the main forms of transportation in Hangzhou City, China. The bus system in Hangzhou uses real time bus tracking information based on GPS to display current bus condition to potential riders at bus stops. These systems, located at the stations, are designed to help users know the approximate arrival time of the next bus, as well as how far it still must travel. This paper could determine the viability of bus tracker application and aims to articulate some of the main problems of this bus location system based on a surveyinterview conducted with users, students and academics, in order to help improve the current situation of the bus arrival information system. Key Word: Bus Location, Bus Information, Bus Tracker Application, Arrival Time
