Dr.Rakesh Dani is currently associated with the Department of Hospitality Management at Graphic Era Deemed to be University, Dehradun (U.K) as an Associate Professor and holds a Ph.D. in Tourism and Hotel Management and even holds Masters in Travel & Tourism Management as well as in Hotel Management, having valuable experience in the academic and hospitality industry in India and abroad, as well as familiarity with international standards. Not only does he provide quality teaching with professional and career advice to students pursuing careers in the hospitality industry, he even guides research scholars.
He has published and reviewed various research papers in international, national, and journal conferences of international repute, including Scopus, WOS, and UGC, etc., and also published inventions in IP.India.
He has conducted and attended International Conferences, Faculty development programs, and Seminars as a resource person and session chair.
He received the Best Faculty Award in 2021, the Award of Excellence in 2020, and the Best National Assistant Professor in Hotel Management of the Year in 2019 and was recognized for outstanding research contribution at Graphic Era (Deemed to be University) for the academic year 2019-20.

In general, Hospitality is just about the accommodating services and food that is provided to the bona fide. It is not ever taken as a solution to a global issue and thinking of it being a solution to hardships in Covid is not how hospitality is perceived or stereotyped by the people, but on broader means and in the past too, it is evident that in a way or other, Hospitality has proven itself to be the savior. Therefore, it was necessary to find out if hospitality has done anything during the time of Epidemic. Being a Hospitality personnel and staying at home was initially tough. The feeling of 'always help others' never diminished and after few days of Pandemic, I served as a volunteer and helped people finding resources around the country. A though arose, If I am able to lend little help to the society, then there must be many people and organizations in India that could be doing this as it is a country where Hospitality is at another level. And the Humanity is still alive so the efforts could be marked worldwide. In order to know if people are really helping others out and portraying hospitality, it was necessary to do a study. It is found that Hospitality has served as rescuer even in the ancient times and many Holy books have mentioned the same. In modern era too, people have found unique and innovative ideas to turn out as aid to the needy. Many Industries like Hotel Industry, Automobile Industry and many more have come to the rescue and provided their services for free to the patients, doctors, healthcare professionals, migrants, animals, poor, senior citizens,etc.. Some of the suggestions being: Government should stAart being prepared for the worst when it is not the peak and come up with innovation cells who could react when the cases are rising, and the statistics touch the peak. Also, local bodies can be formed by people who are voluntarily willing to help out during these times so that it is not required by them to think when it is actually the time to react. Also outsourcing can be done beforehand in order to make the required cure and healthcare equipments.

Abstract—The problem of atmospheric air pollution is one of the key environmental problems. In or... more Abstract—The problem of atmospheric air pollution is one of the key environmental problems. In order to determine the factors that make the greatest contribution to air pollution and to counter them in a timely manner, it becomes necessary to constantly monitor the air environment. Currently, monitoring is carried out at stationary sources of pollutants, however, the share of pollution by exhaust gases of motor vehicles has increased. Thus, in order to obtain an objective picture, it is necessary to monitor pollution by motor vehicles, which, with the classical approach, using a variety of gas analyzers, is extremely costly. It is proposed to assess the state of the atmosphere indirectly, through calculations, based on the state of weather conditions, terrain, traffic intensity and car models, from which it is possible to obtain information on the type and amount of emitted pollutants.The article discusses the applicability of machine learning algorithms to the problem of predicting the state of air pollution. A review of the main prediction models was carried out, as well as the effectiveness of their application. Model prediction time estimates are obtained for a fixed error value.

This is because of a deficiency in promising tools for prompt identification of this cancer. Nowadays, the automatic discovery of pancreatic cancers with the help of novel computed tomography is extensively used for the analysis and presentation of pancreatic tumors. Conventional approaches are capable of extracting only low-level features. Tumors in pancreatic malignant that extremely impends the life span of infected people. Categorization of tumors without human intervention is a really challenging task. But image segmentation and classification have real-world complications, such as unbalanced categorization accuracy, a heavy workload, and the final outcomes determined by the subjective judgment of the medical expert during the analysis and presentation of pancreatic cancers. In addition, precise prediction of pancreatic cancers could help the clinical experts to provide the best therapeutic schedule for infected people of various stages. In this research work, Region-Based Segmentation (RBS) is used to segment the input images of pancreatic cancers. In case of feature extraction, Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) _ Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), Cuckoo Algorithm _ Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), Modified Cuckoo Algorithm _ Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) are adopted. Results are evaluated based on Accuracy, Precision, Recall, time period. Results have proven that the proposed Modified Cuckoo Algorithm_ Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) performs better in all aspects.

The purpose of the research is to discuss the impact of the restaurant industry on the sustainability of the environment. This review paper is based on primary data like observations, interviews, and secondary data which is mentioned in various reports, newspapers, journals, books, and websites. This research paper starts with the different negative impact of the restaurant industry on the environment and end with how we can reduce these impacts to sustain the environment. Sustainability practices will help the restaurant for reducing operating costs and save the environment from toxins that occur in the food-making process.

Therefore, the job satisfaction of employees working in this industry is very important. The aim of this chapter is to examine the factors impacting the job satisfaction of restaurant staff at Uttarakhand. Out of total 500 employees, 397 employees from 15 different types of restaurants filled the full questionnaire and the collected data is analyzed through different statistical tools like mean, standard deviation etc. This chapter is based on different factors of job satisfaction in the restaurant sector which can help to the managers, owners to make better policy for employee’s job satisfaction by enhancing their motivation towards service of guest, resulting higher productivity.

Now a day mostly tourist are looking for how food and beverage is deliver to them, so it is very important to find the quality of food and beverage service are provided by restaurants. This study aimed to find the tourist satisfaction and perception about food and beverage service quality in Nainital. This research is based on observation and feedback of 100 tourists who visits food &amp; beverage outlets in Nainital through personal interview and structured questionnaire including 18 questions of likert scale using statistical tools such as percentage and mean from which we conclude that what is the tourist satisfaction level and perception of food and beverage service quality.

The largest Component within the Nainital hospitality sector is hotels. In addition to hotels, food and beverage operations comprise a significant proportion of the industry .Now food and beverage industry is growing day by day everywhere in world that is why Food and beverage service operations are continuing to improve and develop, together with advances in quality. The hospitality industry depends on good quality of food and beverages service because most of the tourist spend more than 25% (Outlook June, 2012 | Emerging Trends in Food & Beverage Services Retailing in India) of their expenses on same and it is important that we need to provide not only taste of food and drinks to the tourist but also the service style. As different tourist have different expectations, based on their knowledge of a product or service and when we exceed the guest expectation or satisfy the guests its mean the F&B service sector achieve their goal and it’s firstly depends on staff attributes. This research is based on feedback of 100 tourists who visits selected food & beverage outlets in Nainital through questionnaire including 16 questions of likert scale using statistical tools such as percentage and mean from which we conclude that what is the impact of food and beverage service personnel attributes on tourist satisfaction and also analysis the priorities for F&B service staff for tourist satisfaction.
