This study aimed to know the difference of geography learning result which was using problem solving learning model and using conventional method. This report would be useful to know the effect which was contributed by problem solving learning model on the students’ learning result of geography lessons at SMA N 1 Baradatu. This research used quasi experiment design. The sample consisted of 58 students. The data analysis used Linear Regression T-test. The result of data analysis showed that there was different improvement between students’learning on geography lessons after being taught by using problem solving learning model and the result after being taught by using the conventional model. However, there was positive and significant influence of problem solving learning model in increasing students’ critical thinking on geography lessons.
