At the same time, private universities have also adapted new strategies for differentiation, suggesting the need for a more complex and nuanced approach to understanding the ways in which global demandas shape local and national transformations.

Material and methods: 25 individuals with the SPS were prospectively identified in the Centro de Hematología y Medicina Interna de Puebla. In addition to the studies looking for the SPS, other laboratory markers of thrombophilia were also studied: the activated protein C resistance phenotype, activity

One is the low-resolution model called LOWTRAN, developed by the Air Force Geophysics Laboratory (AFGL); another is the monochromatic (or laser) model called LZTRAN. Reference is made to earlier research by the authors in which an analytical method using double exponentials was developed to replace the low-resolution gaseous transmittance tables in LOWTRAN. It is proposed here to replace the polynomial functions in LZTRAN with double exponentials, accounting also for atmospheric pressure variations not originally included in this code. The method is tested at 6 laser frequencies for a mixture of absorbers within the bottom 5 km of the atmosphere with a resulting transmittance accuracy of about 3%. The calculations use line-by-line data obtained using the AFGL line-parameter tape.

In the case of weak interaction (nonspecific adsorption), the model establishes that interfacial hole transfer takes place via an isoenergetic, indirect mechanism involving photogenerated surface-bound OH radicals. ...

The structural characterization was carried out by X-ray diffraction (XRD), micro Raman and N2 adsorption at 77K. The addition of indium stabilizes the tetragonal ZrO2 phase and influences the specific surface area. Rhodium salt impregnation on both indium doped and pure zirconia maintains the tetragonal phase at

N-glycolyl (NGc) gangliosides, and particularly NGcGM3, have received attention as a privileged target for cancer therapy. Many clinical trials have been performed with the anti-NGc-containing gangliosides anti-idiotype monoclonal antibody racotumomab (formerly known as 1E10) and the conjugated NGcGM3/VSSP vaccine for immunotherapy of melanoma, breast, and lung cancer. The present paper examines the role of NGc-gangliosides in tumor biology as well as the available preclinical and clinical data on these vaccine products. A brief discussion on the relevance of prioritization of cancer antigens in vaccine development is also included.

Our sequence approaches a single Schwarzschild horizon as one limiting case and also includes cases where the horizon's crossover surface is not hidden by a marginally anti-trapped surface (MATS).
