The aim of the exercise is to introduce students to the phenomena of transfer of complex power along the distribution line, voltage drop, power losses, types of consumption, but also the methodology for the measurement and calculation of basic electrical quantities on the distribution line. The test network is a single-phase model of the three-phase low-voltage cable line. As a part of the exercise, measurements of voltage, current, active and reactive power and power factor are performed. The exercise analyzes the impact of X/R of the line and the type of consumption (resistive, resistive-inductive, resistive-capacitive, and motor) on the basic power system quantities.

The algorithm includes parallel speed and resistance parameter estimation and allows a robust shaft-sensorless operation in diverse conditions, including full load and low speed operation with a large thermal drift. The direct connection between the injected electric signal in the d-axis and the component of injected rotor flux were pointed at. The algorithm that has been applied in the paper uses the extracted component of the injected rotor flux in the d-axis from the observer state vector and filtrated measured electricity of one motor phase. By applying the mentioned algorithm, the system converges towards the given reference.

The laboratory for rnewable energy soures and energy efficienc was established at the Secondary School of Electrical Engineering “Mihajlo Pupin”, Novi Sad under IPA CBC project Serbia and Croatian. The plan is to perform laboratory exercices within the teaching process at the Secondary School of Electrical Engineering “Mihajlo Pupin”, as well as the Higher Education Technical School of Professional Studies in Novi Sad. The lab contains equipment from the solar and thermo techniques based on the implementation of solar panels, heat pumps and pellet stoves. Photovoltaic systems include the use of static photovoltaic panels, photovoltaic tracker and inverters for autonomous power supply of electricity consumers. Besides, the lab contain modern systems of inner and the outer light, wind generator with inverter, elements of smart low voltage electrical installations and fuel cell systems for laboratory measurements. To determine the energy efficiency of residential buildings for exercising, a thermal imaging camera is used.
