Bu tez çalışmasının amacı, şiddet olgusunun sinema filmlerinde yeniden üretimini ve bu üretim sürecinin nasıl gerçekleştiğini Quentin Tarantino filmleri üzerinden ortaya koymaktır. Sinema filmlerinde şiddetin yeniden üretim süreci, estetize etme ve manipülasyon kavramları çerçevesinde değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışmada Quentin Tarantino'nun Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill Vol. 1 ve Kill Bill Vol. 2 filmlerinin çalışma için belirlenen sahneleri, Gerard Genette'in Anlatıbilim kuramı çerçevesinde öykü, öyküleme ve anlatı başlıkları kapsamında göstergebilimsel bir çözümleme yöntemi ile çözümlenmiştir.
