Assessment is undoubtedly the most sensitive and complicated part of teaching, for many teachers’... more Assessment is undoubtedly the most sensitive and complicated part of teaching, for many teachers’ assessment can be equivalent to other jobs and responsibilities in the profession they practice, but we are often wrong in this aspect. Assessment should help learning, motivate students and prepare them for the future, towards improving knowledge and finding the right path to success. Therefore, this research identifies the role of using assessment instruments that help students in learning and in a better performance in national and international tests, since primary school is the basis for their future education. The study was conducted in 10 elementary schools of Prizren and includes 160 participants: 40 teachers, 40 parents and 80 students. Data collection methods include structured questionnaires, analyzed through a combined approach (quantitative and qualitative) using the SPSS program and narrative interpretation of open questions. The findings show that the use of diversified assessment instruments, especially formative assessment, has a positive impact on improving student performance in national and international tests. Teachers who integrate these tools have more opportunities to provide more personalized instruction and motivate students toward continuous improvement. Therefore, we recommend to use as many assessment instruments as possible, to get rid of traditional assessment and to take concrete steps to improve the state of education in Kosovo.

The research will use a theoretical approach by reviewing the existing literature on adaptive assessment in mathematics education. Data will be collected through scientific databases and summaries of empirical studies. Concrete examples of the use of adaptive assessment in fractions, geometry, and algebra demonstrate significant improvements in student outcomes. The main technological applications that support this method and recommendations for its successful implementation in teaching are also discussed. In conclusion, adaptive assessment has shown a significant positive impact on mathematics teaching and learning. Using sophisticated algorithms and advanced technologies, this approach provides a personalized environment for each student, tailoring questions and tasks to their specific abilities and needs.

In the review of the literature, a series of studies and applications of advanced technologies in the teaching of mathematics were identified. Several studies have shown that the use of deep models can identify specific difficulties of students and provide personalized feedback to improve learning outcomes. In addition, the use of innovative applications has shown the potential to make mathematics learning more engaging and interesting for students. In conclusion, the literature review has identified an increasing trend in the use of deep learning in the field of mathematics education. However, continuing research in this direction and expanding practical applications will contribute to our knowledge and improve teaching practices in this area.

The use of mobile applications was examined in a group of primary and lower school students to evaluate their effectiveness in learning mathematics and improving their skills in solving systems of linear equations. The main goal of this scientific paper is to investigate and evaluate the role of mobile applications as aids in solving systems of linear equations, involving students in the research process. The research method included a mixed-methods design including quantitative analysis of mobile application results and qualitative analysis of students' experiences and opinions. Data collection was conducted through individual interviews and classroom observations. The results show that the use of these technological tools has a positive impact on the involvement of students, increasing the interest and efficiency of learning. The findings also highlight challenges and suggestions for improving the use of mobile applications in the mathematics teaching context. This study contributes to the understanding of the use of mobile technology for the development of mathematical skills at the lower secondary school level.

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused a radical change in the global education system, forcing the tra... more The COVID-19 pandemic has caused a radical change in the global education system, forcing the transition from traditional classroom learning to distance learning. This study examines the main challenges faced by music school students during this period, with a particular focus on technological aspects, motivation, and quality of learning. This study used a quantitative approach to collect and analyze data from music school students. The participants in this study will be the students of the music school "PrenkJakova" from Gjakova and the music school "Lorenc Antoni" from Prizren from the Republic of Kosovo. Where a total of 76 high school music students were selected. Through an online questionnaire developed with Google Forms, data was collected from students to better understand their experiences and the challenges they faced. The results show that one of the biggest obstacles has been the poor internet connection, which has negatively affected the quality of learning. Also, the lack of direct interaction with teachers and peers has resulted in a decrease in student motivation and engagement. Furthermore, learning musical instruments through online platforms has been considered ineffective by most students, highlighting the need for more advanced methods and technologies to maintain the quality of learning. The study also reveals that social isolation and emotional problems have negatively affected the well-being of students, highlighting the importance of psychological support during such periods of crisis. Based on the findings of the study, measures are recommended to improve distance learning, including improving the technological infrastructure, developing interactive learning methods, and providing emotional support to students. This study contributes to the existing literature by providing a detailed analysis of the challenges and experiences of music school students during the COVID-19 pandemic and offers practical recommendations for improving distance learning in the future.

This paper analyzes the academic performance of students from first grade to ninth grade, using physical and online tests to assess their achievement in various subjects. So, the purpose of this study is to analyze the academic performance of students and identify the factors that influence their achievements. This study uses a quantitative approach to assess students' academic performance. The sample includes "Heronjtë e Lumës" elementary and junior high school students in a broad representation of students from first grade to ninth grade, with results showing a high variability in percentages of academic achievement. Factors that influence academic performance, such as pedagogical methods, socioeconomic status, psychological aspects, and the school environment, are analyzed to provide a deeper understanding of student achievement. The results suggest the need for more personalized approaches to teaching and increased support for lower-performing students. The study concludes with recommendations for improving teaching methods and educational policies, aiming to increase the quality of education and support the all-round development of students.

These currents, influenced by the magnetic field vector (H), magnetic flux density (B), and electric field (E), are present in various environments, including homogeneous and non-homogeneous areas, linear and non-linear environments, and open boundary problems. In marine environments, these currents, referred to as planetary currents, contribute to electrical pollution, impacting maritime infrastructure, machinery, and ecosystems. This study aims to assess the impact of eddy currents in the Durrës Seaport, Albania, focusing on how meteorological factors such as temperature, atmospheric pressure, and humidity influence pollution levels. Using the TES-92 Electro-smog meter and the PCE-THB 40 Thermo-hygrometer and barometer, we measured electromagnetic field characteristics and meteorological parameters. Our results highlight the significant impact of stray currents on marine environments, emphasizing the need for effective measures to minimize their effects and improve the quality and selection of materials and equipment in port facilities. This study provides valuable insights into the environmental and infrastructural challenges posed by electromagnetic pollution and proposes recommendations for mitigating these impacts.

Th... more Electronic games have become "fashionable" to be followed mainly by the young and middle ages. This whole industry is developing at a fast pace while the ethical aspect has not found much interest to be discussed. Unfortunately, playing electronic games has affected our behavior and the way we make decisions in everyday life. However, discussion on the ethical aspects of these games has been limited. This study aims to examine the effects of video games on the behavior and way of making decisions in the daily lives of users. To carry out this study, a methodology that includes analysis of existing literature was used. Through an in-depth analysis, the positive and negative impacts of these games on children and adolescents have been identified. The results show that, while video games can improve cognitive skills and coordination, they can also promote aggressive behavior and negatively affect the moral development of young people. In conclusion, the paper offers recommendations on how to guide the use of video games ethically and responsibly, encouraging awareness and education of users and parents.

Algebraists have studied for over a hundred years mathematical systems called Boolean Algebra. Nothing could be simpler and more normal for human reasoning than the rules of a Boolean Algebra, because these derive from the studies of how we reason, which reasonings are valid, what constitutes evidence, and other topics. The following design is intended to explain the use of Logicly for validating logic circuits from Boolean Algebra. Logicly is a user interface environment that provides a simple and effective platform for modeling and analyzing these expressions. In this paper, we will explain how we can prove their accuracy. The research results showed that the Logicly program has an excellent performance in validating logic circuits and is an efficient and reliable tool for this purpose. The Logicly program also showed good consistency in the output responses to changes in the inputs of the logic circuits.

Nowadays with the advanced of technology, education systems are under increasing pressure to keep... more Nowadays with the advanced of technology, education systems are under increasing pressure to keep up with the times. As a result of rapid technological progress and change, those who are responsible for the development of educational curricula are forced to consider how new and innovative teaching and learning approaches can be applied. In this study, we will try to give some results on how to use the GeoGebra program in teaching practice to address topics for presenting and reviewing logarithmic functions. In this study, the mixed method was used as the main methodology with action research. The selected sample included 37 students, while the data collection instruments were tests and questionnaires. The results of the study show that the experimental group performed much better after the intervention with the action plan compared to the results of the pre-test and that of the control group. Implications for this study show using GeoGebra in the math teaching process helps students develop basic math skills. Well-organized and wellplanned support with this program, as well as ample activities helps many students to solve various problems around the topics of logarithmic functions.

This study analyzes the accuracy of ChatGPT, an artificial intelligence model based on GPT-3.5, i... more This study analyzes the accuracy of ChatGPT, an artificial intelligence model based on GPT-3.5, in determining the values of basic trigonometric functions. To this end, we examine ChatGPT's responses to sine, cosine, tangent, and cotangent values for a wide range of angles. We compare the results provided by ChatGPT with the accuracy values determined by basic trigonometry. We also explore differences in accuracy depending on changes in question complexity and given context. The results show a high level of accuracy of ChatGPT in determining the values of trigonometric functions, especially for common angles. However, it is noted that accuracy may be affected in certain cases of extreme angles or complex questions. This analysis provides an important representation of ChatGPT's capabilities in the field of mathematics, using a new method for testing the accuracy of artificial intelligence models in determining trigonometric values.

Ky libër ofron zgjidhje praktike për të gjithë ata që duan të përmirësojnë aftësitë e tyre matematikore. Ky libër është një koleksion i problemeve matematikore të organizuar në dhjetë kapituj si vijon: Bashkësia e numrave natyrorë, të plotë, racionalë, barazime dhe jobarazime, proporcioni dhe përpjesëtimi, përqindja, gjeometria, probabiliteti, statistika, dhe probleme të ndryshme nga fushat tjera kurrikulare. Libri përmban gjithsej 1080 probleme, ku 562 probleme janë me udhëzime dhe zgjidhje, kurse 518 probleme të tjera janë për punë të pavarur me rezultate. Qëllimi i këtij libri është të ndihmojë lexuesit të kuptojnë më mirë problemet matematikore dhe t'i ofrojë atyre një udhërrëfyes praktik për t'i zgjidhur ato në një mënyrë të kuptueshme. Ky libër është shkruar në mënyrë të qartë dhe të kuptueshme për të gjithë, pa marrë parasysh nivelin e tyre të diturisë matematikore, duke ofruar një përmbledhje të zgjidhjeve të problemeve të ndryshme në mënyrë që të lehtësohet kuptimi i tyre. Andaj, ky libër i dedikohet nxënësve të shkollës fillore dhe të mesme të ulët dhe libri shqyrton mënyrat se si mund të zgjidhni probleme matematikore të ndërlikuara. Kjo mund të ndihmojë lexuesit të kuptojnë se libri është një burim i dobishëm dhe praktik për zgjidhjen e problemeve matematikore me fjalë. This paper examines the experiential learning potential of computer games, analyzing their impact on student motivation and engagement. Through a review of existing literature and empirical studies, the paper explores ways in which computer games can be integrated into educational curricula and used as effective learning tools. The study is based on the experiential learning theory of Kolb (1984) and other similar theories that emphasize the importance of direct experience and reflection in the learning process. The study analysis shows that computer games can not only increase students' engagement and motivation but also improve their learning experiences through interactivity and immediate feedback. In conclusion, the paper suggests recommendations for the effective use of computer games in education, emphasizing the importance of an approach used to ensure positive learning outcomes.

New technologies offer clear opportunities to improve learning and make the student more involved in the educational process. One of the most affected and promising technologies is the use of holograms in combination with augmented reality (AR). Holograms are three-dimensional images that appear in space using illumination and light interference. They provide an immersive and realistic visual experience that is not possible to achieve with ordinary two-dimensional images. The use of hologram technology has extended to various fields, including architecture, medicine, and now education. Therefore, this scientific paper aims to explain the use of hologram technology in the field of education and the ways in which it can serve as an effective tool to provide virtual learning. By integrating augmented reality (AR) with the concept of holograms, an immersive and interactive learning experience is created for students. This paper provides an overview of the basic concepts of hologram technology and its applications in the context of education. In conclusion, we can state that the use of holograms in virtual learning advances traditional learning by providing students with a rich and immersive learning experience. This technology has the potential to change the way education is delivered and prepare students for a different world and advanced technology.

The findings show that the use of diversified assessment instruments, especially formative assessment, has a positive impact on improving student performance in national and international tests. Teachers who integrate these tools have more opportunities to provide more personalized instruction and motivate students toward continuous improvement. Therefore, we recommend to use as many assessment instruments as possible, to get rid of traditional assessment and to take concrete steps to improve the state of education in Kosovo.
