It provides a practical framework for making the services that contribute to 'human development work' for poor people. In the backdrop of the above-mentioned International Prescriptions, the paper attempted to explore about the rationality of application of Principles of Service Marketing and lessons to be learned from World Development Report 2004 regarding Marketing of Education Service. The Report advocated for MES at basic level. There is no word in the report on the marketing of higher education for the poor. The report brought into light the three different dimensions of marketing of Education Service: Internal marketing dimension, External Marketing dimension, Interactive Marketing or Real-time Marketing dimension. According to the report elements of Education Service marketing like product, price, place, people, physical evidence, process, participation, and policy are important but, not the promotion aspect. This needs a re-look. The report has also advocated for punching of Principles of 'Service Marketing' and 'Social Marketing.'

For the digital revolution in the rural areas in developing countries like India, governmental intervention was done in the form implementation of a Community Information Centre Model [CIC] of ICT project to reach the people. Hence, an assessment of e-governance through CIC Model was done. The scope of the study was to analyse the activities of CICs in one of the districts in India. The district has its rural and tribal character and unique distinction of ISO 9001:2000 certificate for integrated citizen centric services. The study investigated the demand-supply matching of e-governance services rendered under the CIC model from the perspective of the providers, users and community people. The study necessitated the developing a new evaluation methodology and use of Empirical Research Design, structured questionnaire, multi stage stratified random sampling technique, primary data along and Descriptive statistics and Non-Parametric testes for hypotheses testing. The study observed that there is gap between the level of demand and the level of supply in respect of e-governance service by CICs, as perceived by the Service Providers, Service Users and Community People. To fulfil the gap between the levels of delivery of the e-governance service, views of the target population should be considered more. The positive message is that there exists high level of demand for e-governance service in the rural as well as tribal areas. The study also mentioned scope of the future research.

Marketing has evolved through traversing three major eras of: Production Orientation, Selling Orientation and Marketing Orientation. Marketing concept is a management philosophy where the Customer is the pivotal point. The concept of Customer Cost was developed by Lauterborn (1990) while developing the customer oriented Marketing Mix- the 4C concept. 4C model replaces the earlier 4Ps of Marketing Mix, here the focus is on customer and the current paper is all about the second C of this model i.e. Customer Cost or Price in earlier 4P model. The Customer Cost concept is based on the fact that customers are more concerned with the total cost of acquiring a solution of their problem (Product or Service) rather than the price being charged for the Solution (Product or Service) offered by the Company (Moller, 2006), Customer Cost is a assumed to be a better approach as customers are interested ...

It is also seen that one believes that he/she is behaving rationally while at the same time assuming that others often do not. Most of the investment and financial theories are based on the idea that everyone takes careful account of all available information before making investment decisions. But there is much evidence that it is not the case. Behavioral finance, a study of the markets that draws on psychology, is throwing more light on why people buy or sell the stocks they do - and even why they do not buy stocks at all ( Singh R&Bhowal A, 2007). This research on investor behavior helps to explain the various 'market anomalies' that challenge standard theory. It is emerging from the academic world and beginning to be used in money management.
