A patient with continuing pain in mandibular left first molar even after completion of root canal treatment was referred by a dentist. Following basic laws of the pulp chamber floor anatomy and under magnification, 8 canals were located with 3 in mesial root and 5 canals in distal root. At 1 month follow-up patient was asymptomatic .The story emphasizes how understanding the rules of pulp chamber anatomy and following them when looking for extra canals might help to avoid missing canals. Irrigation has become a critical component of adequate root canal treatment. To obtain the goal of safe and effective irrigation methods this article review is to give a brief idea about irrigation devices and recent methods of irrigation. The irrigation process is often dismissed during endodontic treatment, must not be overlooked. It is one of the major keys of success for endodontic treatment.

Treatment options include full crowns, veneers, and direct restorations, as well as minimally invasive procedures such as microabrasion, macroabrasion, and bleaching. Bleaching of teeth is the least invasive and conservative treatment option, so it is gaining popularity. The purpose of this case report is to describe an in-office vital tooth bleaching case in a young patient using POLA OFFICE + (37.5%percent hydrogen peroxide gel). By the end of the second visit, the results were satisfactory, with no side effects. Keywords: In office Bleaching, Pola Office +, Discoloration

Methods and Materials: Twenty patients were selected for this in vivo study. Each patient received at least one pair of restorations, restored with nano hybrid bulk fill resin composite (IPS Empress direct [IED]) and nano hybrid Tetric N Ceram flowable composite [TNC]. Each restorative resin system was used with its respective adhesive system according to manufacturers’ instructions. A total of 40 class I restorations were placed by one operator. Restorations were blindly evaluated by two examiners at baseline and 3, 6, and 12 months respectively using modified US Public Health Service Ryge criteria. The data obtained was statistically analyzed using Chi square test to compare the two restorative materials for each category. Results: At 3, 6 and 12, months, recall rate was 100%, 95% and 85%, respectively, with a rete...

Materials and Methods: Forty sound human maxillary incisor teeth were used in this in vitro study. Teeth weredivided randomly into one control group and three experimental groups of ten teeth each; control group Group A: Restored withdirect composite veneer(IPSIMPRESS), Group B: Restored with indirect composite veneers (Tetric Ceram), Group C:Restored with zirconia CAD/CAM block. Standard preparations were done using Ceramic Veneer Set. Indirect laminate veneers were cemented with the Veneer Cement and all specimenswere stored in distilled water. The load was applied on theocclusal part of the veneer at 90 ̊tolong axis of the tooth using universal testingmachine. Results were analyzed with one-way ANOVA and LSD tests. Specimens were examined by stereomicroscope at a ...

J. College of Dental Sciences & Research with the post endodontic treatment periapical pathology where orthograde retreatment and apical surgery was unfeasible or declined by patients and where extraction be the last resort was selected for the procedure. Informed consent was taken. Retention and healed status without complications (periapical radiolucency, external root resorption, ankylosis, signs/symptoms, probing <6 mm) was recorded and analyzed with Kaplan-Meier survival analysis and Cox proportional hazard regression model (P < .05). Bivariate associations of the investigated variables with the main complications (ankylosis, periapical radiolucency, e...

An 18-year-old female patient reported to the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics with the chief complaint of pain in upper front tooth region. On clinical examination, there was Ellis class III fracture resulting in loss of significant tooth structure necessitating post and core treatment. Treatment was initiated with removal of carious region, canal was located, working length was established followed by chemo mechanical preparation and obturation. Post space preparation was done in the canal followed by post cementation and core build up. Keywords: Post, core, ceramic, crown lengthening.

Alternative restorative materials with improved properties are the need for future. Restorative dentistry must strongly promote the prevention of dental caries to reduce the need for restorative materials and emphasize the best management practices for all materials in use.Use of dental amalgam for restoration during the past 10 years or so, the awareness and recognition of the environmental implications of mercury have increased and dentistry has gained further attention as being a source of contamination of the environment. In addition, within the dental profession and the oral health research community the interest of serving patients through the use of alternative dental restoration materials has grown markedly
