This research argues that intercultural dimension and PAP are interdependent. Comparative analysis of different european experiences will try to show the impact of their participatory and inclusive practices. Cultural practices of PAP are in the core of the creation of a communities through its intercultural contribution. The analysis points to which extent cultural differences have been evolving into scope of strategies through a time period which connects the past and the present. This represents several references - cultural differences, racism and activism of progressive change - to critical questioning of how it was previously and how it is nowadays a picture of multicultural societies through educational lenses.

This also allows us identify interfaces between EU staff and non-European staff and partners, e.g. in European delegations abroad. We are focusing on value and identity related statements on the institutional mezzo-level, comparing it to the institutions official discourse and decreed values on a macro level. To further identify centripetal and centrifugal forces caused by this specific organizational context, we are superposing micro-level statements from European citizens outside these institutions who are from comparable social backgrounds and also working internationally.

This book offers an inter-disciplinary insight into reflections on the part of cultural policy that relates to the establishment of contemporary international cultural relations, from conceptual reflections to case studies that demonstrate the complexity of the concepts of cultural diplomacy and cultural relations, as well as their practices. The book addresses several questions: How is cultural diplomacy understood and constructed in the contemporary context? How is cultural diplomacy perceived beyond the notions of soft power? Why are cultural representations of high significance for contemporary cultural diplomacies and cultural policies as such? Is culture an instrument in promoting foreign policy interests, or is it a field that enables inter-social and inter-cultural connections at different levels? What are the possible strategies of identity politics in the context of cultural diplomacy representations?
Ethical dimensions with the media are also related to the intercultural awareness. This research ... more Ethical dimensions with the media are also related to the intercultural awareness. This research attempts to explores what role EU diversity and its intercultural image play in the process of constructing its supranational European identity. This is fuelled by the European Union's concern with culture as one of the main driving forces for constructing European identity. Europe is also seen as representing "Unity in diversity ". The aim of this research is to examine the ethical impact of internal video production of European Union institutional ad-Growing together-EU Enlargement ad. The European Commission has been forced to withdraw a high-budget video promoting the EU enlargement being accused of depicting other cultures in a racist manner. Through this ad as a case study, this paper will try to demonstrate, what the pop media diversity practice might bring to the society in terms of ethical respectful representation of its citizens in relation with outside Europe. Some of the cultural management theory and practice might offer concepts that can lead to the desired achievement of a common EU identity while not suppressing the values and cultural identity of each member states trying to answer in the same time the question of whether or not the EU has a potential of handling it consciously and becoming innovative in achieving its intercultural policy. Paper will tried to show what may happen and actually happened if the need for mutual respect and understanding was ignored. Does a no-physical-borders policy really lead to a " no borders " identity amongst EU citizens? And if so, does this change its external intercultural strategies.
