This study aims to integrate the variables, which are antecedents of SD through direct and indirect paths. The managers as participants of small‐ and medium‐sized enterprises have helped the researchers to explore the role of green knowledge management (GKM) and green dynamic capacity with the intervention of green innovation and competitive advantage in achieving SD. The results achieved through structural equation modeling revealed positive and significant direct and indirect relationships, however, the intervening role of green innovation and green competitive advantage between GKM and SD show insignificant results. Interestingly, we have also identified two significant moderators as a part of this study: large firm size and transformational leadership. This research has important implications and significan...

Considering effective team functioning, a leader’s non-cognitive abilities, knowledge-sharing behavior and the role of culture remain central concerns of health-care teams. This study aims to investigate how a leader’s emotional intelligence (EI) in a prevailing team culture can nurture the sharing of knowledge and enhance team EI that influences team performance. Design/methodology/approach The authors used multisource data representing a sample of 195 teams (735 respondents) to examine the hypothesized relationships by using the analytic strategy of partial least squares-structural equation modeling. This study bridged the methodological gap by using the repeated indicator approach that includes the reflective-formative second-order hierarchical latent variable model. Findings The results revealed a standpoint that leaders practicing the ability...

However, many organizations continue to use traditional production techniques, damaging the environment. To address this issue, this paper aimed to investigate the impact of green human resource management (GHRM) practices on green performance through the mediation of green work climate, green work engagement, and green employee behavior. The extent to which individual green values moderate the relationship between green work climate and green employee behavior was also examined. To meet the objectives, a cross-sectional quantitative study was conducted using simple random sampling, and the data were gathered using structured questionnaires from 390 employees of manufacturing SMEs in Pakistan. The findings of the study supported all the direct and indirect relationships and revealed that the incorporation of GHRM practices in SMEs has performance-enabli...

Supplementing former quantitative and qualitative assessments of socio-economic impact research; an under-represented area, this study aims to conduct a bibliometric analysis of related articles. By means of co-citation and co-occurrence analyses, a bibliometric survey will give an alternate perspective by depicting the landscape and changing the path of socio-economic impact research over time. Utilizing the scientific visualization instrument VOSviewer and statistical software tool R, 2894 socio-economic impact works gathered from the Scopus database from 1965 to 2019. We used text mining techniques and presented major contents in the form of a conceptual structure map, word tree map, and word clouds. With a quantitative scientometric method, a historic and notable setting of research on socio-economic impact was provided, enabling us to follow the advancement of the field along with distinguishing the most productive authors, journals, institutions, and countries. We identified and envision the landscape of socio-economic research and track how this landscape has advanced. USA and UK are the prominent leaders in publications, although at a regional level most productive is Europe. Journal of Cleaner production, Climatic Change, and Plos One are the most influential and productive journals in the field. The insights of knowledge accumulated from a bibliometric review after mapping the landscape will give scholars an efficient comprehension of the advancement of the socio-economic impact field and a guide to further progress socio-economic impact research literature.

Design/methodology/approach Questionnaires were used to collect data from 340 employees from largest MNCs working in Kazakhstan. Findings The results show that psychological capital mediates the relationship between PIED and knowledge sharing behavior (KSB). Moreover, it was found that organizational identification moderates the association between individuals’ psychological capital and their KSB. The mediated moderation analyses supported the hypothesized model. Originality/value This paper contributes to a more complete understanding of how investment in employee development may support or build employees’ psychological capital which in turn facilitates KS.
