She had a history of recent COVID-19 infection and was treated with steroids. The pus from peri-orbital sinuses, in KOH stain showed presence of broad, non-septate, right-angle branching fungal filaments. An early microbiological diagnosis of Mucormycosis, based on the direct smear findings substantiated the clinical diagnosis and helped the patient to get timely treatment. We emphasize that a request for an early microbiological diagnosis may affect the outcome in this highly invasive fatal disease.

This paper presents the sensorless speed control of the BLDC drive with the technique of zero-crossing detection of indirect back EMF. Several controllers are employed and compared for acquiring the effective control over the speed. The particular paper demonstrates the performances of sensorless BLDC drive has been evaluated with different controller schemes such as a conventional controller (PI), anti-windup PI, Fuzzy based and the Hybrid (Fuzzy-PI) controller at different load and speed. Their results have been compared in which fuzzy based controller offers a better response in maximum cases. This reduces the cost and complexity without compromising the performance. Fuzzy Logic Controller is used to enhance its robustness and reliability. The effectiveness of the work is demonstrated through simulation done in MATLAB Version (2013) environment and simulation results of the sensorless drive have been analyzed.

Proportional-Integral, Fuzzy logic and Artificial neural network based schemes are proposed to control the blade pitch angle and tip speed ratio. A MATLAB/Simulink model is developed for the wind turbine based power generation system by combining the designed controllers. The system performance is tested under different operating condition for each controller assisted wind energy conversion system and found satisfactory. Furthermore, a comparative study is made in terms of controller response and control parameters.

Automatic generation control (AGC) of four-area interlinked power system with generation rate con... more Automatic generation control (AGC) of four-area interlinked power system with generation rate constraints (GRC) is presented in this paper. The four-area interconnected power system having two areas with steam turbines and other areas are nuclear and hydro turbine tied together with power lines is considered in this paper. The AGC of multi-area power system using PID, Fuzzy and ANFIS controllers, and their comparative performance analysis are presented in this paper. ANFIS is a hybrid intelligent controller formed by parallel combination of fuzzy logic and neural network. This controller is able to control the frequency deviation efficiently and at minimum time, so ANFIS controller gives improved result over fuzzy and PID controllers.

Data visualization symbolizes the efforts that help people in understanding the significance of data in a better way through representing it in a visual context. The patterns, trends, and correlations that might go undetected in raw data can be exposed and recognized effectively with data visualization methods. Here our aim is to recognize the limitations of the existing visualization approaches and to present a novel data visualization method.

This integration is mainly done in the form of Distributed Generation (DG). The Integration of DG in distribution system converts passive network into an active network. For extracting maximum benefits of integration of DG, optimal size of DG should be integrated at optimum location. In this paper, performance analysis of a distribution system is studied after the optimal placement of DG. For optimal placement, Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) is used. Performance analysis is done for multi-DG placement. For detailed study, IEEE 33-bus radial distribution system is considered as test system.

The rate of consumption of energy is increasing day by day; therefore, the demand of energy is also increasing. To satisfy this increase in demand of energy, building integrated photovoltaic module (BIPV) system is one of the ways to satisfy the consumer demand by providing the energy according to the consumption, since the BIPV system is mainly affected by the outermost conditions the most, and therefore, in the present work, its performance is analyzed under the effect of external conditions. In this paper, the observations under different external conditions are taken which follow the effect of coal, dust, and shading as well as for the normal conditions. The results are then compared and are observed that the performance of BIPV solar panel is low under the effect of external conditions as compared to normal conditions.

This paper focuses on the preparation of PVA nanocomposite films and how their properties are affected by a silver-loaded nanocellulose solution. Cellulose nanocrystals (CNCs) were used as both the carrier and the dispersant of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) prepared using glucose as the reducing agent. Ag+ was stabilized by the many hydroxyl groups located in the CNCs, and then the Ag+ was reduced to AgNPs in situ. After addition of silver-loaded nanocellulose, the tensile strength of the CNC-PVA-AgNP films increased from 47 MPa to 73 MPa, and the nanocomposite films displayed reduced moisture absorption and good antibacterial properties.
