The enzyme in the feed can increase the absorption of protein and digestion rate in the digestive tract of fish. This research examined the effective level of enzyme papain to increase the Feed Utilization Efficiency (FUE), Protein Efficiency Ratio (PER) and Average Daily Gain (ADG). This research used Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with five treatments i.e. treatment A (control), treatment B (1.5 %), treatment C (2.25 %), treatment D (3 %) and treatment E (3.75 %) in triplicate. Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) with the average initial weight of 17 g, and initial total lenght of 8–10 cm was fed three times daily at feeding rate of 5 % of the total body weight. The results showed that supplementation of papain in the feed significantly increased the activity of protease, FUE, PER and ADG. The optimal dose of the enzyme papain at 3.75 % was able to increase 48.31 % of FUE, 2.13 % of PER and 2.07 % of ADG.

The submerged cage was intended so that the lobsters are not disturbed by the situation/water quality in the upper layer of the water. The research method used a completely randomized design using 3 submerge cage depth treatments and 4 repetitions with different ones, A (2 meters); B (3.5 meters); and C (5 meters). Lobster maintenance was carried out for 40 days using a submerged cage with a diameter of 80 cm and a height of 90 cm. Each cage contains 10 lobster seeds measuring 40 g. Frequency of feeding 2 times a day. The amount of test feed given was 20% of the lobster weight each day. Limbah kulit ari kelapa memiliki potensi sebagai sumber lemak yang dapat digunakan sebagai suplemen pakan ikan. Penelitian ini mengevaluasi pengaruh minyak kulit ari kelapa terhadap laju pertumbuhan spesifik (SGR) dan tingkat kelangsungan hidup (SR) ikan nila (Oreochromis niloticus). Empat pakan dengan tingkat sumber lemak yang berbeda yang diformulasikan dengan menambahkan minyak kulit ari kelapa pada pakan ikan komersial pada level 0%, 2%, 4%, dan 6% selama 35 hari. Laju pertumbuhan spesifik (SGR) tertinggi yang diamati pada ikan didapatkan pada ikan yang diberi minyak kelapa pada tingkat 2% dan 4% dibandingkan perlakuan yang lainnya (P 0,05). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa minyak kelapa sebanyak 2% merupakan level yang direkomendasikan sebagai suplemen pada pakan ikan nila yang ditunjukan dengan laju pertumbuhan spesifik yang baik.

This research was carried out in July 2021 at the Fishery Products Processing Laboratory, FPIK Unpad. The method used in this research was an experimental method with four treatments adding different concentrations of coffee to the catfish filets, namely 0%, 5%, 10%, and 15%. The parameters observed consisted of organoleptic tests which included appearance, aroma, texture, and taste. The results of the research showed that the catfish filet which was marinated using Arabica coffee belonged to the category favored by the panelists. The treatment with 15% coffee concentration was preferred with a median value of appearance 7 (preferred), aroma 7, texture 7, and taste 7. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh jumlah penambahan tepung biji kecipir pada pak... more Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh jumlah penambahan tepung biji kecipir pada pakan komersial serta mengetahui dosis optimal yang dapat meningkatkan kematangan gonad ikan gurame. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari – Mei 2017 di Balai Pengembangan dan Pemacuan Stok Ikan Gurame dan Nilem (BPPSIGN) Singaparna, Tasikmalaya, Jawa Barat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimental Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari lima perlakuan termasuk kontrol dan tiga kali ulangan. Perlakuan yang diberikan adalah penambahan tepung biji kecipir sebanyak 0% (kontrol) per kg pakan, 3% per kg pakan, 5% per kg pakan, 8% per kg pakan dan penambahan dengan vitamin E sebagai kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian penambahan tepung biji kecipir pada pakan komersial sebanyak 5% per kg pakan dapat meningkatkan kematangan gonad ikan gurame dengan hasil diameter telur rata-rata sebesar 2,33 mm, derajat pembuahan telur sebesar 92,1% ...
