Monotonous learning and the less effective learning model are factors of student saturation. The project based learning (PJBL) is one of the models used in making projects. The use of the PJBL in learning can increase student activity and creativity. In assessing project processes and outcomes in learning, an authentic and thorough assessment is required. This study aims to analyze the need for the PJBL model and portfolio assessment. The research method used is descriptive. The sample of this research is SMA/MAN teachers in 5 schools in Padang Pariaman. PJBL is very rarely used in learning because this learning model has its own difficulties in its implementation. The PJBL had a major impact in 3 schools, namely SMAN 12 x 11 Lingkung, MAN 1 Padang Pariaman, and SMAN 1 Lubuk Alung, with average scores above 60. Portfolio assessment has a great impact because it can facilitate students and teachers in the learning process. Results of this study are the teacher expects the ease of using the PJBL with the portfolio assessment of physics learning.

The discovery learning model, is one of learning model that can enhance physics learning outcomes, which involves engaged and student-centered. Media and teaching materials must support the applied discovery learning model by using the worksheets with scaffolding are effective and practical for the discovery learning model. This study aims to see whether there is an effect of the application of scaffolding-based worksheet in the discovery learning model on the physics learning outcomes of students. The type of research conducted was a quasi-experiment using the Randomized Posttest Only Control Group Design. The population of this study were all students of class XI.F of Senior High School in Padang. Sampling was done with Purposive Sampling technique. Data analysis techniques used are normality test, homogene...

Existing and growing digital technology supports all the demands of this curriculum. The internet can be accessed by anyone, including students. However, some of the information they obtained cannot be confirmed. For this reason, literacy skills are needed for students to be able to sort information. Indonesia's science literacy condition is currently lagging far behind compared to other countries, as can be seen throughPISA. The purpose of this study was to determine the emergence of the scope of science literacy in physics instructional material for class X senior high school in Padang city. This type of research used descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The research method is the document analysis method. The research population is all instructional material used by class X high school students in the c...

This research conducted at Senior High School 6 PadangThe type of study conducted was a design of quasi-experimental. The study design used was a posttest-only control design. Samples were selected from Class X IPA Senior High School Number 6 Padang, the study population for the 2021/2022 school year, using a targeted technique of sampling. XI IPA 1 class as the experimental class and XI IPA 2 as the control class. The data collection instrument used is a test instrument. The analysis of data techniques used are descriptive statistical analysis the tes are, normality, homogeneity, and U test (Mann-Whitney). From the research data analysis, the experimental class's average value was 80.69, higher than the control class, 62.14. The results of hypothesis testing obtained zcount = 7.24 and ztabel = 1.96 by the Ho rejection criteria, name...

As a result, an initial investigation was undertaken within this research, comprising a review of existing literature and on-site data collection. The research carried out was a type of qualitative descriptive research. Research data was obtained from analyzing teacher needs through interviews and analyzing student needs through filling out questionnaires. The PjBL integrated e-module developed consists of text, images, videos, interactive quizzes, and assignment collection templates via g-form. The development of e-modules is aimed at supporting students to learn independently. During its creation, the e-module made use of the Flip PDF Professional software application. A requirement assessment was conducted to gather insights about the physics learning procedure, the utilization of instructional resources in physic...

The teachers only focus on completing curriculum targets without considering their student's understanding and most of them have misconceptions. The study aimed to identify students' misconceptions of physics concepts using the five-tier diagnostic test. Data was collected once using a descriptive-quantitative method. The research sample consisted of 18 students from one of the high schools in West Sumatra. A total of 17 questions was used to identify students' understanding of Newton's law of gravitation. The results showed that students had misconceptions as follows: gravitational attraction is only caused by planets; there is no gravitational force in space, and the direction of the gravitational force is determined by the direction of the gravitational attraction by some objects; two objects have different gravitational force strengths; all planets revolve around one another, the orbit of the ...

By using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation, this form of research is classified as Research and Development (R&D). The e-book chapter validation test process involved 3 UNP Physics lecturers as validators. In the e-book chapter practicality test to teachers, 2 teachers as practitioners from three schools. The practicality test of the e-book chapter to students was carried out on 9 students from one school. From the results of the research data analysis, the conclusions were obtained, first, the HOTS-oriented physics learning e-book chapter with the CBR approach on the material of effort and energy for class X SMA has a validity value of 0.8 with a very valid category. Second, the results of the practicality test...
