The take a look at become performed in Hawa Gelan district, Kellem Wollega Zone Western Oromia Ethiopia with the goal to Assessment on Challenges and Opportunities of Beef Cattle Production. Assessment on challenges and opportunities of beef cattle production was carried out on 80 farmers in the study district. Majority of the respondents has been used blended manufacturing device (50%) due to the fact maximum of the red meat farm animals manufacturers had been they take part in crop manufacturing, farm animals rearing sports and dealer game. The end result of this take a look at shows that 45% of the respondents rely upon herbal pasture, 22.5% of crop residues, 15% of sparkling grass cutting, 7.5% of sugar cane and 10% of maize grain as a basal feed for his or her farm animals. Price willpower for pork farm animals advertising and transactions on the look at place 87.5% have been through the negotiation among the sellers/manufacturers and the customers and 12.5% of the respondents said that agents intervene among the sellers/manufacturers and the customers. The foremost water supply is determined from river water, faucet water and ponds. The supply of livestock for fattening had been majorly from marketplace (purchasing, 78.75%), whilst the rests had been from personal herd 10% and 11.25% from both. Feed scarcity, feed cost, land scarcity, insufficient housing, genetic aspect and occurrence of illnesses like blackleg disease, lumpy pores and skin disease, Pasteurellosis, Anthrax, Bloating and Parasites are the foremost demanding situations for pork farm animals manufacturing. The root reasons of feed scarcity had been loss of land, excessive fee of feed and occasional great and amount of feed supplementation. When the manufacturer receives the land that used for forage manufacturing they must be use advanced forage. The authorities must paintings on introducing excessive feed yielder forage and must forage improvement techniques specifically outside forage manufacturing gadget to be able to clear up the feed scarcity in phrases of great and amount. Government must enhance advertising linkage of the pork farm animal's products. In the destiny the limitations cited at the take a look at region must be solved via way of means of the authorities in collaboration with all stake holders and the possibilities must be improve above these.

The U.S.-trained Danab Brigade has proven capable in breaking the ineffectiveness pattern. Drawing on over 20 interviews with Somali officials and service members, this paper analyzes U.S. security force assistance in the case of Somalia. Danab’s sound performance stems from its U.S. training and support, multi-clan ethos, and aggressive tactical style. Danab exemplifies American success in building small, aggressive, mobile partner military forces. The recent U.S. withdrawal from Somalia raises questions about Danab’s continued viability.

Mobile phone technology has a potential to address many health challenges facing resource-poor countries including the barriers HIV patients encounter when accessing ART. The magnitude of mobile phone utilization and factors affecting utilization of mobile phone among patients attending ART clinic for health-care services particularly in management of HIV/AIDS patient clinical attendance, follow up and adherence is not well assessed in Ethiopia and Addis Ababa. Objective of the study: The overall objective of this study was to assess utilization of mobile phone and factors affecting utilization of mobile phone for HIV patients' clinical attendance and follow up at public hospitals in Addis Ababa Methodology: A cross sectional study employi...

The average live weight and hot carcass weight of yearling sheep breeds ranged between 18.37-19.77,8.12-8.79 kg respectively and for adult 20.2-20.67,9-9.36 Kg respectively. For the yearling goat breeds the live weight and carcass weight ranged between 18.67-19, 8.25-8.39 Kg respectively but for the adult goat breeds it ranged between 19a.61-20.28 and 8.74-9.17Kg respectively. The dressing percentage ranged between 43.94-44.49 % for yearling sheep, whereas for adult sheep of ranged between 44.46-45.26 % respectively. The dressing percentage for yearling goats ranged between 43.46-44.49 %, whereas it adult ranged between 44.54-45.21 % respectively. No significant difference was observed among the parameters considered within and between breeds group and age groups.

Harakat al-Shabaab al-Mujahideen. ... more This paper examines the funding sources of the terrorist group Harakat al-Shabaab al-Mujahideen. Using existing research and original interviews, this study outlines al-Shabaab’s history and funding sources. It theorizes that an organization’s capacity to operate in different fields of economic activity drives innovation in funding. Applying a framework for terrorist innovation to al-Shabaab’s funding sources, this study finds support for the theory. Development of intelligence and taxation capabilities is especially prevalent in the al- Shabaab context. Holding territory considerably increases organizational ability to raise funds. Increasing reliance on criminality may compromise an organization’s ideological character and leave it more vulnerable to inter-group competition.

Si... more Mobile banking is the use of mobile terminals such as cell phones to conduct banking services. Since mobile banking transactions are virtual and involve spatial and temporal separation, they carry great uncertainty and risk. Thus, for customers to adapt mobile banking they need to build trust to assuage perceived risk. Owing to its important role, trust has received considerable attention in information systems research, especially in the e-commerce context such as mobile banking. Typically, trust exerts great influence on customer satisfaction. Under the relationship marketing theory, the mediating role of trust is acknowledged. Although some researchers discussed the mediating role of trust in mobile banking satisfaction, studies that focused on the role of trust in shaping customer satisfaction in mobile banking are rare. Therefore, the objective of this study is to propose a conceptual framework examining the role of trust mediating the interrelationships of three quality factor...

The ability of three freshwater microalgae strains, namely Chlorella sp., Pseudochlorococcum sp. ... more The ability of three freshwater microalgae strains, namely Chlorella sp., Pseudochlorococcum sp. and Chlamydomonas sp. to grow in water containing different concentrations of phenol has been tested. The effectiveness of the selected strains to utilize the phenol as a carbon source and reduce its concentration has also been assessed. The phenol removal efficiency and cells growth rates were evaluated at different initial phenol concentrations, in the range of 100-450 ppm. It was found that growing, under a reduced illumination condition, increased the inhibition onset concentration, enhanced the phenol removal and allowed the strains to tolerate higher phenol concentrations reaching 450 ppm. In the tested range of the phenol concentrations, Chlamydomonas sp. has shown to have the highest specific growth rate of 0.59 day-1, whereas Pseudochlorococcum sp showed the highest phenol removal rate of 166 ppm day-1. Three kinetics models that incorporate substrate inhibition were tested to describe the growth, which show almost identical fittings.
