The Temple of Hibis stands out as one of the best-preserved ancient Egyptian temples from the Saite-Persian period. Attributed to Darius I, some archeological expeditions gathered significant data on it and the rest of the complex and a first archeoastronomical research, focused on solar events, was led. In this study, a new perspective on the astronomical significance of the complex will be pursued. Given that in the temple the Theban Triad, led by the god Amun-Ra, was mainly revered, it will be shown how this influenced its astronomical orientation, taking into account the dual nature of the god as both a ram and the sun. The former is symbolised by the heliacal rising of Aries constellation, while the latter in the subsequent rising of the sun. The archeoastronomical analysis will help to reconsider the current dating of the complex or to reinterpret some archeological evidence. Furthermore, the orientation of the complex could not solely have been influenced by astronomical purposes, but also by the aim to establish a connection with the Temple of Luxor, as the main centre of worship of the Theban Triad.

Knowlton church and earthworks is a well-preserved example of English henge and some archeological studies have been conducted to date the two main structures. The former refers to the earthworks that date back to approximately 2.500 B.C., while the latter is a Norman church. The decision to build the church at this location is significant, as it involves repurposing a previous sacred place, and its presence has contributed to the preservation of this beautiful site. This paper will focus on the astronomical alignments of the site, where at least five important solar and lunar events were tracked by the ancient builders of the earthworks. Additionally, the church exhibits an interesting plan that will also be investigated.

Near Borgofranco d'Ivrea in Northwestern Italy there is a peculiar structure called Truchet where, around a rock formation, some anthropogenic terraces have been built. On the top of the rock ledge there are some cupules (little artificial hollows) and six of them have an elliptical shape while the others are circular. The six elliptical cupules seem to have an astronomical meaning, being oriented towards some solar events. Also the anthropogenic structure seems to have an astronomical meaning. Investigating its orientation, it is possible to identify an asterism whose the Truchet is a replica on earth.

In northwestern Italy there are many examples of megalithic structures and in this study it will be proposed a new structure never mentioned before, as I can know, that could contribute to the general knowledge of a culture who spread its monuments in different countries, all characterized by the use of stones of several tonnes. In particular, the hypothesis is that this new structure is a boulder altar, built on a huge stone over which other stones were piled up. The presence of an entrance and its symmetry, a carved step and some cup marks may point to a man-made monument and its megalithic structure could date it back to the first millennia BC or more back in time.
