This paper understands the “market logic” as in Augéan non-places, an archetype of frontier-less ontology that has evolved like a rhizome within the col-lege campuses. Auge’s Non-Places are ephemeral, sans frontiers, governed by audio-visual technology, and find their existence on the campuses in its commodified capac-ity of brand logos, internet connectivity, hypermediated consumption, cafés, com-merce, cash machines, and transitory relationships. The theoretical framework specu-lates campuses as ontological spaces bereft of conventional demarcations, intricately bourgeoning institutionally akin to the rhizomatic presence. The present analysis scrutinizes the pivotal role played by the imperatives of global capital and market dynamics with the aim of furnishing educational campuses and making them Augean non-places.Employing literary-discourse analysis, this idea has been inter-rogated through the study of three Indian Campus Fictions (elite institutes) to explore the campuses of Indian Institutes of Technology as Augéan non-places through the lens of brand, US life, and relationships that attest further to the porosity, fragility, and the customized nature; all-encompassing the campuses as places of commerce, true to Augéan non-places.

The generation of post-millennials has shorter attention span and motivation and prefers a learner-centric teaching style. This paper attempts to mitigate such challenges by bringing an analogy with a magic trick along with proposing a “divergent-convergent diamond structure” to anchor and synthesise teaching deliverables for the learners. Design/methodology/approach This is a practitioner’s study where practical experiences of the authors have led to the conceptualisation of the central theme discussed. Findings From a practitioner’s opinion and interpretation, the proposed “divergent-convergent diamond structure” has the potential to make postgraduate classes more engaging. The proposed structure may suggestively promote self-efficacy, trigger curious minds, bring relevance, indulge participatory learning and consolidate the concepts.

This is also the reason why they have been infamously disregarded in the Indian academia. This paper proposes to study the stylistics aspect of the comic strips from Bengal especially the ones written by Shri Narayan Debnath, and the coming into vogue of this printed visual medium. This article aims to identify the uniqueness and the formal aspects of the stylistics of Indian Comic tradition from Bengal. Additionally, it aims to leaf through the popularity markers through Debnath’s stylistics aspect of the three comic strips that have kept the imagination of his audience alive for more than five decades. Articles can even be beyond the formal structure of writing. This article explains the points of a good presentation. Presentation in any form is not new to anyone, be it class lectures, debates, extempores, group discussions, interviews, sales presentations, etc. The list is endless. Plenty of books and articles have focused on the concept of how to be a good presenter; there may be many articles on good presentation skills and other techniques related to presentation. But this article is just an attempt at smoothing out the delivery skills and preparing the content for the newcomers in the world of public speaking or those who are habitual presenters yet somewhere the phobia lies in a deep corner of the mind. This article is based on experience, books and websites.

On many occasions, the choice of one official workplace language can automatically advantage or disadvantage different members of an organisation based on their competency and confidence with it. It can also impact their interpersonal relations, one of the markers of communication, between employees, who are the social capital for an organisation, and function through social groupings. This paper aims at proposing models for overcoming the communication barriers which have a three-tier structure—vertical, horizontal and diagonal—by engaging, motivating, exploring and broadening perspectives of the organisational workforce. It will include scope to build intrapersonal, interpersonal, leadership, persuasiveness, decision-making, problem-solving, and leadership skills. This can mitigate performance anxiety and boost the morale of the workforce which can...

Additionally, it aims to leaf through the popularity markers through Debnath's stylistics aspect of the three comic strips that have kept the imagination of his audience alive for more than five decades. He successfully addressed the first objective through a systematic literary review with inclusion and exclusion set as a benchmark. The identification of the stylistics through close reading of the texts along with their systematic review of secondary literature, formed the basics of the second objective. Particularly those stylistics were considered which were typical of their prominence and were integral across the literature and the texts. Furthermore, a matrix was also successfully designed to map the identified stylistics. A couple of implications portray that the said interpretation may help the Post-Millennials or the Generation Z to examine and consider the sublimity and allegiance of reading, and shape the imagination prowess of young minds, apply their intellectual faculty and develop a comic disposition in life. Development of creativity in any narrative style and development of conversational mechanisms are often found to be an added bonus. However, making today's generation read this form of narrative and chisel their fertile imagination remains a challenge for the digital-natives. There is no doubt however, that this age-old art form can be tremendously advantageous as an academic endeavour and become an integral part of children's systematic reading habit.

Purpose – This paper aims to propose a classroom teaching orchestration technique, analogically drawing a reference from the movie, Prestige (2006). The generation of post-millennials has shorter
attention span and motivation and prefers a learner-centric teaching style. This paper attempts to mitigate such challenges by bringing an analogy with a magic trick along with proposing a “divergent-convergent diamond structure” to anchor and synthesise teaching deliverables for the learners.
Design/methodology/approach – This is a practitioner’s study where practical experiences of the authors have led to the conceptualisation of the central theme discussed.
Findings – From a practitioner’s opinion and interpretation, the proposed “divergent-convergent diamond structure” has the potential to make postgraduate classes more engaging. The proposed structure may
suggestively promote self-efficacy, trigger curious minds, bring relevance, indulge participatory learning and consolidate the concepts.

Search for soul and self is a domineering urge for the protagonists’ not only in Desai’s novels, but also for the protagonists in the writings of Henry James, James Joyce, Virginia Woolf, Margaret Atwood and Charlotte Perkins. But the urge has resulted much from the harsh realities of life. Repression and its impact have made as much impact in the literary world as it has made on society. This subjugation seeks to manifest the repressed anger and frustration of generations of discrimination and exploitation in a male-dominated society of fathers, uncles, brothers, husbands and sons. The present paper, however does not intend only to underscore the grey shades of suppression and inner conflict, but to bring to light the protagonists’ search for identity, however grim it may appear to the readers’ sense of comprehensibility. The broader perspective of the work is to highlight the individual understanding of their immediate surroundings by three women. They have their own individual manner of disregarding and questioning the traditional norms of society. Also, through these disregards and questionings, the three women try to find out their own individual identity. They seek an answer to the eternal question ‘Who am I?’ as a result, of such audacity, all the three women have to suffer in their own way which can at times be fatal as has been proved in the case of Ila who ultimately is raped and killed. The novel, thus, vociferously champions the plight of the millions of poor, helpless and exploited women not only in India but also the world over. They sacrifice everything for their family relations and in return get only authoritative submission and domestic violence as a result. But fight back in their unspoken ways to gain individuality.
