Improving reproducibility and reusability in the Journal of Cheminformatics

Journal of Cheminformatics is piloting the inclusion of an additional software reproducibility and reusability review with its new submissions. In addition to regular review, papers submitted to the pilot will undergo enhanced peer review focusing on reproducibility and reusability. The review will examine important details that are complementary to other considerations of reproducibility, but often overlooked. For more information, see here.

All authors of oral and poster abstracts that were accepted to present at the conference are invited to submit a manuscript for this special collection. The deadline for submission is February 29th, 2024.

The 9th Joint Sheffield Conference on Chemoinformatics, to be held at The Edge, University of Sheffield, UK, Monday 19th – Wednesday 21st of June, 2023, focusses on new developments in all aspects of chemoinformatics. Selected abstracts for oral presentations focus on the broad topics of de novo design, open science, chemical space, physics-based modelling, machine learning, property prediction, virtual screening, molecular representations, and chemoinformatics case studies (https://cisrg.shef.ac.uk/shef2023/conference-programme/). In addition to the 26 oral presentations, 40 poster presentations have been accepted for this conference. The program committee took care to cover a broad variety of topics during their selection and was actively seeking to increase the gender balance as well as nominate representatives from diverse institutions.
