Broiler farmers in Jordan constituted the study's population. A sample size of 65 broilers farms was randomly selected. Simple random sampling (SRS) procedure was followed. A structured questionnaire was used to obtain data from the interviewed farmers. Returns, costs (fixed and variable), net income and other related financial items were the main items covered in the survey. Data were collected during the period from March 15 th 2014 to January 30 th 2015. The financial performance of the investigated broiler farms was assessed using financial indicators related to benefit-cost analysis procedure. To achieve study objectives, the Net Present Value (NPV), the Internal Rate of Return (IRR) and the Benefits-Costs ratio (B/C) were used. The sample was divided into two categories, the first category consisted of 33 farmers who were adopting agricultural accounting procedures, and the second category consisted of 32 farmers who were not adopting any agricultural accounting procedures or they were adopting minimum level of these procedures. The results of this study revealed that broiler farms adopting agricultural accounting procedures were significantly higher in their financial performance. The values of the three financial indicators (NPV, IRR and B/C) for broiler these farms were positive, high and acceptable compared to farms without or with minimum level of agricultural accounting procedures. Agricultural accounting procedures keep farm efficient, so it is recommended to introduce proper strategies to improve broiler farmers agricultural accounting skills for Jordanian broiler producers. Also, a vital issue to be taken in consideration is to develop agricultural accounting procedures to be utilized by broiler farm managers or owners. Effective management of a farming operation today requires that farm accounting records be kept and updated so managers can make informed decisions affecting the profitability of their farms.

A survey procedure was adopted to measure the perspective of dairy producers about their skills in farm accounting. 13 statements related to farm accounting skills were used. The farmers skills in farm accounting were measured using mean score derived from 5 point likert-scale. The statistical population of this study consisted of all dairy producers in the country and out of them 237 dairy producers selected as statistical sample. The data were collected between March 1 st and June 30 th 2014. The results of the study concluded that dairy farmers do not possess the necessary accounting skills related to the financial performance of their activity and needed to run their enterprise in a productive way. An empirical evidence was provided about lack of accounting skills by Jordanian dairy farmers. Paying attention to farm accounting and recognition of its importance and providing suitable executive ways to its related problems will be a vital component in developing dairy industry as well as other farming activities.

Intentional sample of 119 broiler farms with almost equal capacity (20,000 birds for each) were selected to resemble the investigated broiler farms. A cross sectional survey using a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire was conducted on broiler farms included in the sample. The data covered human capital development related characteristics of farms operators (e.g. Level of training, education, level of exposure to agricultural extension activities, experience, education area and level of entrepreneurial skills). The financial performance indicators of the investigated broiler farms (e.g. return on assets, current ratio, debt to asset ratio and profit margin) were also covered. Multiple Regression (MR) and Pearson Product Moment Coefficient Analysis were conducted in this study to analyze the data. The results of the study revealed that among many human capital components, training, education, exposure to agricultural extension activities, experience, education area and entrepreneurial skills of farm operators have significant positive impact on the financial performance of the investigated broiler farms. The study recommend that attention must be drawn to the need for agricultural enterprises operators to key into the benefits of training, gaining experience, specialized education, participating in agricultural extension activities and developing their own entrepreneurial skills in order to positively impact the financial performance of any agricultural enterprise.

No enough empirical evidences are available to address this impact. This study aimed at providing an empirical evidence of the effect of resource use intensification on the resource use efficiency of dairy farms in Jordan. Both marginal analysis and production function procedures were followed in this study. The marginal procedure was based on the comparison of the Marginal Value Product of the variable inputs (MVP) with their Marginal Cost (MFC) to estimate the efficiency of the used resources in two dairy production systems; intensive and semi-intensive systems. The production function procedure conducted by developing of multiple regression models for the used inputs in the investigated production systems. A structured pre-tested questionnaire was used for data collection. Two hundred fifteen dairy producers were interviewed. The results of the study revealed that there is no need for any modifications in the rate of use of all resources in the intensive dairy production system since all resources are ideally utilized and farmers are maximizing profits. In the semi-intensive dairy production system increasing the number of dairy cows and cost of veterinary services, drugs, and vaccines and decreasing the quantity of labor and cost of feed will increase farmers profits. The overall conclusion is that resource use intensification will end in improving its use efficiency and profit maximization of dairy farms. Encouraging farmers to shift to intensive production systems by providing credit facilities, subsidized inputs and specialized extension services will aid in this regard.

In addition, the study investigates the effect of website game type (context, word search, compound word, recognition, and synonyms and antonyms) on students' communication skills, and the effectiveness of using website games on students' ability for vocabulary retention. To find the differences that may arise because of the treatment conditions in the study, means, standard deviations, ANOVA analysis, t-test, and Scheffe test were used to test hypotheses about differences between two or more means. The findings of the study revealed that website-based instruction showed more improvement on the achievement test in communication skills than traditional instruction. It was also found that the experimental group significantly outperformed the control group in written skills (reading and writing) while there were no significant differences between them in oral skills (listening and speaking). The findings of the study also indicated that the mean scores on the word search game provide the best indicator to students' later performance on the communication skills test. Another finding indicated higher retention level in favour of the experimental group.
