In connection with the war in Ukraine, the Estonian Academy Publishers temporarily suspends processing manuscripts of authors affiliated in the institutions of the Russian Federation and Republic of Belarus, except for submissions to Linguistica Uralica.
(Council for the Estonian Academy Publishers)
Linguistica Uralica is an international diamond open access journal of the Estonian Academy of Sciences (Eesti Teaduste Akadeemia).
The journal was founded in 1965 under the name Sovetskoje Finno-Ugrovedenije, which was replaced by Linguistica Uralica in 1990.
Papers dealing with any aspect of Uralic (Finno-Ugric and Samoyedic) linguistics are welcome on fully international basis. Linguistica Uralica publishes primary research papers in English, German, and Russian. Articles are provided with English abstract, and Russian and Estonian summaries.
The submitted papers should be original, unpublished, and not in consideration for publication elsewhere at the time of submission. All scientific papers to be published in the journal are peer reviewed internationally in a double-blind peer review process by at least two reviewers with expertise in the relevant subject area.
In the Estonian Research Information System administered by the Estonian Research Council, Linguistica Uralica is classified under category 1.1.
The Linguistica Uralica is diamond open access journal which means that journal does not charge fees to either authors or readers.
From December 2021, by submitting manuscripts to Linguistica Uralica, the authors agree that the article, if accepted and published, will become licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license (CC BY 4.0).
