Tensile strength has been accepted as one of the most important performance attributes of woven textiles. In this connection. it is to mention that fabric assistance is one of the major factors in realizing woven fabric tensile behavior. In this current review. the phenomenon of fabric assistance has been elaborately explained in both theoretical & mathematical ways. Influence of various yam and fabric characteristics such as raw material, yarn & fabric structure, yam surface properties. ends and pick densities. fabric geometry. weaving conditions, air-permeability, fabric finish etc. on fabric or cloth assistance have been thoroughly reviewed A number of useful facts have been discussed from various research papers and books worldwide with proper figures and tables. Negative impact of fabric assistance in case of highly dense fabrics has also been explained As a whole' the present article will definitely throw some light in solving various queries related to woven fabric tensile characteristic by the technical experts from industries as well as by the people from research organisations.

It is a known fact that every new generation always looks for new design and color combination that can cater their new fashion requirement. Going thoroughly into this work, one can find endless possibilities of design creation on fabrics by varying yarn color periodically and weave. These unique designs can be digitally created at once on computer screen with help of some specifically developed software programs. Simply, designers have to put some required data as per their own choice and the designs will appear on the computer screen. One can also get guidelines from these software programs as how to create practically colorful figures and geometrical shaped designs that will appear periodically on fabrics. These software programs are completely unique and one cannot find them elsewhere. These programs were written in Microsoft Visual Basic Programming Language. This book is especially dedicated to those designers and fabricators who continuously explore new and unique design effects on fabrics by using yarn color/weave effect and to those from tie-dye process industries.
