Biblia Hebraica est terminus technicus ab hominibus studiosis Bibliorum extra Iudaismum adhibitus ad Tanach (תנ"ך) sive Vetus Testamentum denotandum. Hae litterae maxima ex parte Lingua Hebraica conscriptae sunt, quaedam partes Lingua Aramaica (fere dimidia libri Danielis pars, partes libri Esdrae et aliae). Terminus creatus est, ut de his litteris in foro academico sine ulla allusione ad traditiones particulares sive scholas theologicas tractari possit.
Biblia Hebraica etiam in usu est tamquam titulus editionum scientificarum texti Masoretici:
- Inter annos 1906-1955 Rudolphus Kittel 9 editiones foras dedit.
- Ab anno 1966 Deutsche Bibelgesellschaft Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia sex editionibus usque ad annum 1997 edidit.
- Ab anno 2004 Deutsche Bibelgesellschaft Biblia Hebraica Quinta foras dat omnes varietates manuscriptorum in Qumran repertorum nec non Masorah Magnam complectentia.
