a abl vs per acc
[fontem recensere]sunt eiusdem. e.g. inventa a grege = inventa per gregem. Curaviste gratias.--Jondel 12:49, 27 Decembris 2010 (UTC)
- I haven't perhaps understood the full context here, but per + acc. is not normally synonymous with a + abl. Per is used in this way in Spanish, not normally in Latin. Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 22:08, 28 Decembris 2010 (UTC)
- It was supposed to mean 'through' but in this case by. Res publica per me defensa eorum benevoluntia nobis conciliavit... The defence of the republic by me.. Inventa per gregem: Created by the group.--Jondel 13:58, 29 Decembris 2010 (UTC)
Placing of images
[fontem recensere]It's probably not a good idea, on a short page, to move images over to the left. Better (because it works better in mobile view) is to put them below the first heading (even if it's the "Nexus externi" subheading). Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 13:32, 8 Ianuarii 2016 (UTC)
- It is a bad thing to add the formula {{Capsa hominis Vicidata}} and to allow the same image, included in the capsa, to repeat on the page. In such cases, if you want to add the capsa, you must look to see what other images are available (or, if there is nothing available, delete the duplicate image).
- Since what you are doing has been discussed several times and is clearly unhelpful, and since you haven't reacted to my earlier message and continue to put images on the left, I am blocking you. Please respond to these points and you can be unblocked at once.
- Please also consider editing with a named account: if you do this it will be much easier to discuss such small issues. Many of your edits are helpful and I don't want to discourage you from participating. Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 12:45, 8 Martii 2016 (UTC)
