Rachiplusia nu est papilio familiae Noctuidarum, in America Australi, praecipue Paraguaia, Uruguaia, Brasilia australi, Argentina, et Tsilia, endemicus.
Latitudo alarum est 28–34 mm.
Larvae Glycine max, Heliantho annuo, Medicaginis sativa, Nicotiana, Solano lycopersico, Spinacia oleracea, Trifolio, et aliis plantis vescuntur
