Abstract
This chapter concludes the Handbook of Smart Cities. It provides an overview to the organization of the volume and explains the technical content of the various chapter which form the Handbook.
The chapter also contains an overview of the area of Smart Cities which emerges from the whole volume. This includes identified common threads, discussion of challenges and bottlenecks, and possibilities for further development of the area.
