  • 2023 Award Recipients

    The recipients for the Armen H. Zemanian Best Paper Award, given for the best paper published in 2023 in the areas of Circuits and Systems are Hong-Yi Huang, Jen-Chieh Liu, Fu-Chien Tsai, Kun-Hua Lee, and Kun-Yuan Chen for their paper “A 12-Phase and 5-GHz PLL with a Subfeedback Loop Technique” published in the April issue, pp. 1873-1892. The recipients for the Sydney R. Parker Best Paper Award, given for the best paper published in 2023 in the area of Signal Processing are Abhijeet Kumar, Samuel Abrams, Abhishek Kumar, and Vijaykrishnan Narayanan for their paper “STAR: Efficient SpatioTemporal Modeling for Action Recognition” published in the February issue, pp. 705-723. The latter paper was also chosen for the M.N.S. Swamy Best Paper Award, which is given for the best paper published in 2022 or 2023 irrespective of the subject area. 

  • 2022 Award Recipients

    The recipients for the Armen H. Zemanian Best Paper Award, given for the best paper published in 2022 in the areas of Circuits and Systems are Sudip Ghosh, Yuvam Bateja, Joshua Roy Palathinkal and Hafizur Rahaman for their paper “Hardware Design with Real Time Implementation for Security of Medical Images and EMPR” published in the February issue, pp. 867-891. 

        The recipients for the Sydney R. Parker Best Paper Award, given for the best paper published in 2022 in the area of Signal Processing are N. Ramesh Babu, K. Sanjay and P. Balasubraminam for their paper “Enhanced Edge Detection Algorithm via Generalized Integer and Fractional-Order Operators”, published in the October issue, pp. 5492-5534. 

        The latter paper was also chosen for the M.N.S. Swamy Best Paper Award, which is given for the best paper published in 2021 or 2022 irrespective of the subject area.
