Copy of en label to es label

edit

This edit has copied the en label to the es label. That seems to be quite counterproductive to me. I'd be glad if you find a way to stop your bot producing those edits systematically. Regards, --Marsupium (talk) 22:57, 5 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hi, another incorrect edit. I do not find "pilot" word in Spanish dictionary. — Ivan A. Krestinin (talk) 22:14, 7 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Crimea in Italy

edit

Dear Kizar,

It is a while ago, but in May, your bot added to the item Sudak (Q7830) a country (P17) claim that it is in Italy. It is a town on the Crimea, so I wonder how your bot came up with this idea? Although it was a Venetian and Genovese colony from the 13th to 15th century, nowadays it is part of the Ukraine. Best regards, Bever (talk) 23:23, 8 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Date of birth of Presidency of George W. Bush

edit

Your bot incorrectly added date of birth (P569) to presidency of George W. Bush (Q1719918). --Yair rand (talk) 12:53, 20 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

It was imported from es.wiki long time ago. Thanks for fixing it. --Kizar (talk) 13:20, 21 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Queen Sonja of Norway marked as dead

edit

Hi, I was wondering why it:Sonja Haraldsen was marked as dead, until I realized that itwiki gets this information from Wikidata. Her false date of death was added in this edit made by KLBot2 last summer. It is actually her consecration date. --Silvonen (talk) 07:13, 25 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Gregorian calendar

edit

Hello, April 23 is the traditional date of death for Shakespeare, but your bot incorrectly marked it as gregorian calendar while I'm told that would be May 3.[1] How many dates did you import? Were they all from English Wikipedia? Do you have an idea of how common the error may be? Thanks for the help! --Nemo 13:55, 30 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

KLBot2 and date of death of Stanley Prager

edit

This item's person was born 1917 and died 1972, but in this edit, KLBot2 set the date of death to 1917. The entry ended up with P569 = P570. I'm guessing that the bot was tricked by some Wikipedian's misuse of the death date template, which for some reason included the birth date too: {{death date|1972|1|18|1917|1|8}}. Hopefully that's an isolated mistake on Wikipedia. Thanks Haplology (talk) 02:04, 2 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Wikimedia disambiguation page (Q4167410)

edit

Hi! At https://www.wikidata.org/?diff=77225092&oldid=75535049#top you added a statement to a Wikimedia disambiguation page. I moved the statementds from the disambiguation page Roma people (Q7361513)      to Romani society and culture (Q4246706)      . It was the best item I could find. There is also Romani people (Q8060)      . Regards gangLeri לערי ריינהארט (talk) 20:46, 9 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Bot

edit

You can use your bot account for Widar editing. There'll be no rate limit using your bot. See Wikidata:Administrators' noticeboard/Archive/2014/05#Flooding of Special:RecentChanges for related discussion. However, you may need a new bot approval for this.--GZWDer (talk) 12:20, 26 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

However, If you want to do many (10k+) edits, you'd better file a new bot approval. You should check the list before adding statement, otherwise your bot's flag may be removed. see Wikidata:Requests for permissions/Removal.--GZWDer (talk) 12:45, 26 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Administrator noticeboard report

edit

I have found an additional instance of the bot failing to account for the difference between Gregorian and Julian calendars here. Since neither the complaint above about the Gregorian calendar, nor any other complaint mentioned on this talk page, seems to have been responded to, I have given notice at Wikidata:Administrators' noticeboard#KLBot2 creating incorrect birth dates. Humano

Hola. Banners on enWikivoyage

edit

Hey there Kizar, We currently have well over a thousand banners waiting to get linked in Wikidata. Would you be so kind as to start the bot up once more? On another note, is there any chance the bot can be ran, say, every half a year? Thanks!
-- Wauteurz (talk) 20:29, 30 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hello Wauteurz, sorry for the late response. I run the script yesterday. The remaining articles in the category must be fixed by hand. There are 2 issues: articles without page in Wikidata (create it manually) and articles with the banner hosted in Wikivoyage (move it to Commons). The code is awful and commented in Spanish but here it's. I can run the script again in the future if you need. Regards --Kizar (talk) 12:10, 7 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

Gracias :) --Davidpar (talk) 11:07, 7 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
Hola Davidpar, estoy trabajando en ello. => https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/KLBot2 --Kizar (talk) 11:16, 7 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hi, while adding 2023 population values, you forgot to remove the preferred rank of the previous year (2022) population: https://www.wikidata.org/w/index.php?title=Q2074405&curid=2001511&diff=2038233747&oldid=2037322141 Now there are two population values with preferred rank (2022 and 2023). Método de determinación

edit

--Kizar (talk) 08:24, 18 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
