MCube is a BMBF-funded future cluster "Munich Cluster for the Future of Mobility in Metropolitan Regions" and is already in its second funding phase, which started in November 2024. As a beacon of the mobility transition, we develop innovative, scalable solutions with a model character - far beyond Munich. In doing so, we are testing modern mobility solutions, creating new legal foundations for sustainable innovations and making urban spaces more liveable.
The mobility of tomorrow affects us all. Whether sustainable transport planning, innovative technologies or smart solutions for urban and rural areas - the challenges are many and varied.
Do you have questions about the mobility of the future? Are you facing specific problems in your municipality, your company or your research? Our cluster brings together science, business, society and the public sector to find answers together.
MCube develops innovative solutions for the mobility of the future. We offer a wide range of services to promote sustainable, networked and future-proof mobility concepts. You can find an overview of our services here:
The project investigates how various car-sharing models at residential locations can offer an attractive alternative to the little-used private car.
The project aims to influence mobility behavior on the TUM research campus in Garching through digital and physical interventions.
We are creating a digital basis for comprehensively mapping mobility in the metropolitan region and testing the effectiveness and safety of future measures before they are introduced.
We are investigating the potential impact of innovative Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) offerings such as mobility budgets and mobility bundles in real-world laboratories for everyday mobility and major events.
