A wikimeet is a social gathering for Wikimedia enthusiasts, where we...
- Chat about Wikipedia, Wikimedia and any other topics we fancy.
- Eat and drink (although alcoholic drinks aren't compulsory, nor is food)
Wikimeets are mainly casual social events. You can expect to meet some very keen Wikipedians, but this is also an open invite for anyone interested in finding out more about Wikipedia and its sister projects (in both their Welsh- and English-language incarnations) as well as the various wiki-related projects currently taking place in Wales and further afield. Feel free to come along and have a chat about all things Wiki over a beverage of your choice.
WiFi is provided at the venue. Alcohol consumption is not compulsory!
Finding us
[edit]The Central Bar is a very, er, centrally located bar, just off Queen Street and close to Queen Street station and Dumfries Place and Churchill Way bus stops. We will be at a table to the right at the top of the stairs – look out for people with Wikipedia badges and laptops out!
