Dr Mamun Mollah
Completed a PhD from School of Chemistry, Monash University, Australia, studied for innovative technologies to produce metallurgical coke substitute from lignite. I have more than ten years’ experience in chemistry research/analytical chemistry/laboratory science includinga position in an Australian Government analytical laboratory (National Measurement Institute, NMI) for more than three years. In MSc studies, research was carried out to produce low cost phenolic resins and plastics. Quality journal papers have been published and a provisional patent has been filed in Australia.
Currently working in the School of Chemistry in Monash University as a research fellow, research to establish technologies that can manufacture carbon fibre from lignite. As a teaching associate for undergraduates, I teach in classroom environment, supervise and demonstrate chemistry practical classes in laboratories. I also work as a laboratory manager, to support in chemistry practical classes in the school.
