Project Work

University Section Selection Portal (2024): Developed a highly scalable and reliable section selection portal for United International University, supporting up to 100K+ concurrent users. Designed and built the entire system, including backend and frontend, leveraging modern cloud technologies (AWS). The system integrates with the existing monolithic architecture but operates independently without coupling to the student portal. Built with Go and deployed on a robust cloud infrastructure, it ensures high availability, fault tolerance, and optimal performance.

OpenChat (2024) : Developed a horizontally scalable, self-hosted real-time chat application using Golang, WebSocket, and Redis for scalability. Enables private and public chat rooms with anti-spam measures and operates independently of the public internet. Built to ensure reliable communication during crises, with a focus on scalability and security.

UIU Discord Bot (2024) : Created a bot to provide United International University information, including academic calendars and exam times. Features commands for various university details, built with Golang, DiscordGo, GORM, PostgreSQL, and Colly for web scraping. Containerized with Docker for efficient deployment.
