Eligibility
- At least one year of college education
- Enrollment in a degree program in chemistry, physics or engineering sciences
- Applicants from underrepresented groups, including community college students, racial or ethnic minorities, veterans, LGBTQ+, women and economically disadvantaged students are strongly encouraged to apply
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency

- Two letters of recommendation from faculty members
- Undergraduate transcript (unofficial copies are accepted)
Once the above required materials are compiled, students must submit a full application to the NSF ETAP platform by the deadline.

We welcome teacher participants into this program who want to develop new materials based on their research to help students relate science and mathematics to energy problems they want to solve. Professional development opportunities through faculty mentors, lectures and laboratory tours, as well as team-building activities for an inclusive cohort experience, will be available to participants. Parking will also be provided for these high school STEM teachers.
