Sara Benaglia è ricercatrice visiva e saggista. È curatrice presso lo spazio BACO - Base Arte Contemporanea Odierna di Bergamo dal 2016. Insegna alla NABA di Milano e alla LABA di Brescia. Scrive per ATPdiary, Doppiozero e Art e Dossier. Prima di Note ai margini la sua ultima pubblicazione è stata La mobilità della matrice (Lubrina Editore, 2021). È coautrice con Marco Zanchi di Le insidie delle immagini (Postmedia, 2022) e METAFOTOGRAFIA (Skinnerboox, 2021, 2020, 2019). Per Postmedia ha tradotto Dimenticare la fotografia (2023) di Andrew Dewdney e L'arte della memoria nel mondo contemporaneo (in corso di pubblicazione) di Andreas Huyssen.
