If you are proposing a clinical research study to NIH, you will need to specify whether your research involves an existing dataset or resource as part of the PHS Human Subjects and Clinical Trials Information Form Inclusion Enrollment Report. NIH has updated its FAQ and glossary to clarify an existing dataset or resource.

In case you missed it, NIH is increasing the childcare support to $3,000 for applicable NRSA individual fellowships and institutional training awards effective beginning with FY 2024 awards. The process for requesting childcare costs has not changed.

The confidential nature of the NIH peer review process requires that any information pertaining to an application or proposal cannot be disclosed, transmitted, or discussed with any other individual. Therefore, technologies where confidential information might be viewed by others are prohibited, including locally hosted AI technologies where uploaded information could be shared across multiple individuals.
