Psychologists view jealousy as a negative experience that arises from insecurity in a situation of lack of attention, love, respect or sympathy from an important person when all this is real or imagined someone else gets. Jealousy unites a whole range of emotions, feelings, thoughts, the strongest of which are fear and anger. Modern scientific research has shown that jealousy has its own specifics at different ages - the younger a person, the more he has these experiences; jealousy acquires its scale in adolescence, which is associated with a sense of "imperfection", immaturity of young men. The article is devoted to the problem of empathy and its development in future psychologists. It ... more The article is devoted to the problem of empathy and its development in future psychologists. It is noted that empathy, as the ability to understand the inner world of another person, and sympathize with him or her, is one of the most important professional qualities for psychologists and one of the factors of the success of their professional activity. However, an excessive empathic concern may be a risk factor for burnout. It was found that psychologists can use 5 forms of empathic response in their work: understanding, challenge, research, assumption, and interpretation. These forms of response require the use of cognitive thinking processes and are more like a skill that can be developed and trained. At the same time, the cognitive costs of empathy may force future psychologists to avoid it. The article has been devoted to one of the most critical issues of the modern psychological scien... more The article has been devoted to one of the most critical issues of the modern psychological science – development of pedagogical skills. The described program is a response to the lack of effective models of development of pedagogical skills. Besides the presentation of the program, the article also has described the integration of the existing models of professional development into one program, which encouraged positive changes among lecturers and teachers. It has been emphasized that awareness of the own mission in relation to pedagogical activity is critical in the development of pedagogical skills. The program included reflexive discussions, informational sessions and seminars aimed at updating and elaborating various content aspects of pedagogical activity, pedagogical thinking and self-awareness of the pedagogues.
