Derek and the Dominos foguèt un grop efemèr de blues ròck britanic, originari de Londres (Anglatèrra) vist que format aquí per l'anglés Eric Clapton, pr'aquò ambe musicians americans, en particular lo guitarrista Bobby Whitlock.
Derek and the Dominos foguèt actiu un an sonque, entre 1970 e 1971, sus l'empont al Reialme Unit e aus Estats Units.[1] Es conegut pel tube Layla, tirat de lor unic album Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs, cançon qu'Eric Clapton contunharà de cantar pendent sa carrièra sòlo.
