Description

This task is about making it easier for people to understand the relationship between the Reply Tool and the comment they are responding to.

Background

This issue has surfaced in a couple of contexts:

Expected the Reply tool's compose window to open right beneath the comment being replied to.

Opening the reply tool directly under the comment being replied to would lead to the expectation that the reply itself would appear in that position, which it wont.

Another idea would be to highlight the comment being responded to while the reply widget is active, similarly to how we highlight the comment you just posted.

I still think that we should explore linking with "reddit style lines," however, I like where you are heading with this idea @matmarex in that we could somehow treat the comment that the user is replying to.
