Description

In https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T326147, @Ladsgroup proposes a change to the ParserCache which has the potential to impact the way MobileFrontend loads images. This change impacts code we haven't touched in a while, so we should be sure we understand the potential fallout of this fix in more detail and test appropriately.

To-Do

We should pair, engineering+QTE, to devise a list of test cases for behavior / functionality that might be impacted by this change, and once it has been merged, verify this functionality within the beta environment.

Once we have both lists of tests, this ticket can be closed, and we should verify the other ticket -- when it has been merged, run this identified suite of tests against the beta cluster and sign off over there.

We talked through this just now in our task estimation meeting, and had two outcomes:

We're going to close this out, merge this with the parent task (https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T326147), and move that ticket to our board in place of this one, setting priority and effort appropriately on that task.
@Jdlrobson will add what is in and out of scope for our test case investigation to that original ticket
