Meet our team
The prefix.dev team is passionate about empowering developers. We wanted to make it easier to work on cool stuff vs. the annoying but necessary things that go into setting up and deploying environments: managing packages, dependencies, libraries, and way too many repetitive tasks. It's why we've chosen to focus on innovating in package management for Python, Rust, and C++. We want to make developers more productive.
Between all of us, we have decades of experience solving these problems. Our founder originated the Mamba package manager and is a wiley veteran of conda-forge. We're always looking for new people who can contribute to the team.
We believe in creating a team where each individual can thrive, which powers great team work. That means the open sharing of ideas, insights and valuing contribution from each person.
We are located across Europe (for now), or you can find all of us at PackagingCon (which we host). Join our Discord to get to know us better!
