ENFERMAGEM RELACIONADO AO DESMAME PRECOCE EM NEONATOS
RESUMO
ABSTRACT
Although several studies indicate that breastfeeding is essential for the health of
the newborn and the mother, despite its benefits, early weaning is still prevalent.
For this reason, the present theme aimed to identify and analyze the factors that
interfere in the breastfeeding process, seeking to understand the aspects that
lead to early weaning and the interruption of the mother and child bond. The
present bibliographic research was extremely important to understand the
relevance of humanized practice in pre and postpartum care, showing elements
such as the importance of communication and empathy. To this end, it proposes
the survey of information and issues related to the care actions of these aspects,
emphasizing the care of nurses and the multidisciplinary team in passing on
appropriate information to the mother, in addition to prioritizing the importance of
welcoming and ensuring nutritional and immunological demands regarding the
newborn and the physical and emotional needs related to the puerperal woman.
Therefore, the nurse is characterized as an intermediary in the promotion of EB
and in the prevention of early weaning, contributing to the prevention of diseases,
health promotion and the guarantee of comprehensive care.
