Rogério Patrício Chagas do Nascimento was born in Lagarto City, Sergipe State, Brazil. He earned a PhD in Informatics Engineering from Universidade de Aveiro (Portugal, 2004), MSc in Computer Science from Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (Brazil, 1999) and BSc in Computing Science from Universidade Federal de Sergipe (Brazil, 1997). His previous collaboration was in the Instituto de Robótica at Universitat de València (Spain, 2012 and 2005) as Invited Professor and Researcher; and Invited Assistant Professor at Universidade do Algarve (Portugal, 2005 to 2007).
