I graduated with my PhD in 2013 through the Centre for Film and Media Studies under the supervision of Dr. Marion Walton & co-supervision of Associate Prof. Mastin Prinsloo at the University of Cape Town. I currently work in the Centre for Innovation in Learning and Teaching (CILT) at UCT where I advise lecturers on ePortfolios, both for themselves and as part of curriculum innovation initiatives in their courses. I am also taking courses towards a Postgraduate Diploma in Higher Education Studies and try to MOOC-about for my professional development whenever I get the chance. I am also involved in a range of teaching contexts, including online facilitation.
I am passionate about digital media, Game Studies, social media, discourse analysis, ethnography, Cultural Studies, New Literacy Studies, multimodality, Higher Education, ePortfolios, ICTs in Education... the list keeps growing.
