KAI) is a government agency engaged in public transport services. Train tickets can only be purchased initially by conventional means (coming to the station) which resulted in a loss of potential passengers in terms of time and cost. The losses caused by passengers usually spend a relatively long time to queue up at the counter. Such conditions make PT. KAI to innovate in the service business, namely by applying online ticket booking is expected to facilitate passengers booking tickets in conducting activities. The use of special paper hologram tickets also cost more in the making while the train ticket is only used once only. Train ticket also comes with a Quick Response Code (QR-Code) which is expected to facilitate the verification process the ticket. In this study built Application Verification Ticket Booking tickets for securing data in order to reduce the risk of duplication of tickets. The method used is the asymmetric cryptography algorithm which asymmetric cryptographic algorithms can be used in the insertion process data on the QR-Code in the manufacture of tickets that do not use holograms and do not use special paper. This is because the algorithm has two different keys in the encryption and decryption process so as to have more security when used in the verification process. This system is built using a programming language Page Hypertext Pre-Processor (PHP), framework Ignither Code (CI), and java. Based on the results of testing of the system, use of algorithms can provide a high level of data security, especially in the verification process.
