The Bay o Bengal, the lairgest bay in the warld,[3] forms the northeastren pairt o the Indie Ocean. Roughly triangular in shape, it is bordered maistly bi Indie an Sri Lanka tae the wast, Bangladesh tae the north, an Burma (Myanmar) an the Andaman an Nicobar Islands tae the east.
