[eedit | eedit soorce]The oreegins o Borgetto are disputit. The twa lairgely acceptit theories are that Borgetto wis set up as vantage point ower the Mediterranean Sea bi the Arab invaders. Thus, comes the ruit o Borgetto, Burj, which translates tae touer in Arabic. Borgetto is the combination o Burj (touer) an -etto (a suffix meanin smaw in Italian).
