Faaa (or Fa'a'ā) is a commune in the suburbs o Papeete in French Polynesie, an owerseas kintra o Fraunce in the Paceefic Ocean. Faaa is locatit on the island o Tahiti, in the admeenistrative subdiveesion o the Windward Islands, thaimsels pairt o the Society Islands. Faaa haes a population o 29,851, makkin it the lairgest commune in Tahiti an French Polynesie. Faaa haes mony mountains inland that can reach 1,500 m (5,000 ft).
