Su Song (pojednostavljeni kineski: 苏颂tradicionalni kineski: 蘇頌pinyin: Sū Sòng; stilso ime: Zirong 子容)[1] (1020–1101 AD) bio je kineski polimat i državni službenik, poznat po radovima na polju astronomije, kartografije, horologije, farmakologije, mineralogije, zoologije, botanike, mehenike, građevinarstva, poezije, starinar te kao ambasador dinastije Song.

Su Song je bio inženjer zadužen za vodom pokretani astronomski toranj sa satom smješten u carskoj prijestolnici Kaifeng, u kome se koristio rani mehanizam zapinjače.[2][3][4][5] Mehanizam zapinjače Suovog tornja su ranije bili izumili budistički monah Yi Xing i državni službenik Liang Lingzan 725. kako bi pokretali obručastu sferu, iako je Suova obručasta sfera bila prva koja je koristila pogon mehaničkih satova.[5][6] Suov toranj sa sastom je također sadržavao najraniji poznati primjer lančanog prijenosa, koga je u svom kronološkom traktatu opisao kao tian ti (天梯) ili "nebeske ljestve".[7] Toranj sa satom je sadržavao 133 satne dizalice pomoću kojih se zvukom označavao protok vremena.[8] Su Songov traktat o satu Xinyi Xiangfayao (新 儀 . 象 法 要), je napisan 1092. i službeno izdan 1094. Iako je mehanizam detaljno opisan od mnogih historičara, kao što je Joseph Needham, sam sat je uništila džurčenska (džurdžijska) vojska prilikom osvajanja Kaifenga 1127. godine, a pokušaji da ga se obnovi nisu uspjeli. Osim djela Xinyi Xiangfayao, Su Song je poznat i po velikom nebeskom atlasu, nekoliko geografskih karata, kao i traktat o farmakologiji.
