Time Projection Chambers (TPC) for tracking and particle identification via energy loss. Time of Flight scintillator arrays complement particle identification. The forward calorimeter measures energy of projectile fragments. It is used to select central nucleus-nucleus collisions. A small TPC for centrality selection in p+A collisions, and beam definition detectors complete the set-up.
