James Fullington[1] (born June 16, 1963), better known by his ring name The Sandman, is a semi-retired American professional wrestler who is best known for wrestling with Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW). When he was wrestling for ECW he was nicknamed a "Hardcore Icon". He also wrestled for World Wrestling Entertainment from 2005 to 2007, Total Nonstop Action Wrestling from 2002 to 2003 and again in 2010, and World Championship Wrestling (WCW) in 1998 and 1999. On July 20, 2008, Fullington was arrested for fighting at a Yonkers, New York restaurant with the employees.[3]

1 The Sandman's first reign happpened while Eastern Championship Wrestling was a part of the National Wrestling Alliance. Sandman held the title an additional four times after ECW was renamed Extreme Championship Wrestling and the championship became a world championship.
