Cephalosporin

The cephalosporins (sg. /ˌsɛfələˈspɔːrɪn, ˌkɛ-, -l-/are a group of antibiotics similar to penicillin that was originally made from the fungus Acremonium, which was previously known as Cephalosporium.[1] They are used to treat many infections caused by bacteria.
